After my new computer arrived, I downloaded the trial of Vue to test it vs. Terragen... and while I haven't quite gotten the hang of Vue, but I'm starting to favour it over TG2.
Terragen 2 is a cool program, but many do choose Vue instead since i seems to be more efficient and user-friendly (I can hardly understand TG2, Vue was a much quicker learning curve) Plus its vegetation doesn't "clone" models either, and having each tree unique is very important in landscape art
Good luck with it, I must warn it is crash-prone though But you might have a better computer than I.
